Hotel Facilities in Zen English

　Zen English is located entirely inside the Tsai Hotel. Tsai hotel is a well known hotel in the area of Lahug, a business center of Cebu city. Inside the hotel, there are one-on-one classrooms and the school dormitory dormitory. In the daytime, students enjoy the convenience of having classes and rest in the same building. At night, students enjoy even more convenience as the shopping malls, supermarket, restaurants and various entertainment centers are all within walking distance in the vicinity.

There is a shopping mall called JY Square right opposite Tsai Hotel. Inside the square there are convenience store, Japanese cuisine and various restaurants. Around 10 minutes walk from the school there is a business park with modern buildings where foreign call centers are located. It is called the IT park as there are many American IT companies who outsource their call centers there. 10 mins by taxi you will reach the mega shopping malls in the Philippines – SM Mall and Ayala Mall.

Around Cebu, there is an island named Mactan Island where the beautiful white sand beaches are located. Besides Mactan, you can also take an hour of ferry and you will reach another beautiful and unique island – Bohol. Many foreign students come to the Philippines for the beautiful beaches. We recommend you to study hard and play hard. In Zen English we hope the students study throughout the weekends. However, we also organise the social activities and trips over the weekends from time to time.

JY Square

　In addition to the supermarket, there is a gym inside JY Square in which ZEN English students can use for free. There are also Seven Eleven (7-11) which opens 24 hours, some mobile shops, McDonalds, hairdressers, massage center, etc. It is a very convenient shopping mall. There are also photo-shooting companies where students can take their passport-sized photos there.

IT park

IT park is one of the most business active area in Cebu city. There are numerous American conglomerate which had set up the call centers there. The large supply of English speaking locals make this call centers became a popular choice for the American companies. It is definitely a place to go.

Ayala Mall

Ayala Mall is a fashionable shopping mall operated by the Ayala group of the Spanish family-Zaibatsu. In the area of the terrace rooftops, there are numerous new shops operating here in the Philippines. In 2020 they are also planning for a construction in the IT park.

SM Mall

Philippines’s largest shopping mall operated by No.1’s richest man – Henry Seah in the Philippines. SM Seaside is also the most popular mall for Filipinos, just in 2015.

Robinson Mall

Robinson mall is another famous Shopping Mall giant in the Philippines. The most famous mall for Robinson Mall nis ear Osmenia Circle. In 2015 a new mall called Robinson Galleria kicked started. Their Supermarkets are targeted somewhat to the high-end tier, and Japanese foods are also substantial.
